Miami-based attorneys Evan Stroman, George Diaz, Michael Diaz, Jr., and Ibrahim Amir recently obtained a satisfactory settlement after a 3-day bench trial before Complex Business Section Judge Michael Hanzman. The case arose from a handshake deal involving the transfer of real property from our client to the defendant.
At trial, our client sought relief on breach of fiduciary duty, slander of title, and fraud grounds, among other claims. We aggressively pursued those claims and the case was settled in advance of closing arguments.
