Prince-Alex Iwu, named a FINRA arbitrator

Diaz Reus Associate Attorney Prince-Alex Iwu has been named a FINRA Arbitrator.
The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority is a private American corporation that acts as a self-regulatory organization that regulates member brokerage firms and exchange markets.

Prince-Alex focuses his practice on international dispute resolution and the firm’s Africa desk.

Prior to joining Diaz Reus, Prince-Alex practiced litigation at one of Nigeria’s largest international law firms.
He also acquired experience interning at the Permanent Court of Arbitration/International Council for Commercial Arbitration at The Hague. And also, while working as a research assistant at the American Law Institute (ALI), on the ALI’s Restatement of the Law – The US Law of International Commercial Arbitration and Investor-State Arbitration (under the supervision of Professor Catherine Rogers).

He was a founding co-chair of the Lagos Court of Arbitration -Young Arbitrators Network – where he pioneered the now annual LCA-YAN moot competition and worked in that capacity to return a Nigerian team to the Vis Moot competition.
