Diaz Reus Names Attorney Marta Colomar Garcia Partner

Diaz Reus & Targ, LLP announced that attorney and former associate Marta Colomar Garcia has been named a partner in the law firm.

Marta is a multi-faceted, bilingual attorney with an exceptional understanding of international law in matters as diverse as cross-border litigation and arbitration, banking and finance, regulatory and statutory matters and money laundering.”

Colomar Garcia, a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist, is located in the firm’s Miami Office.  She is also the head of Diaz Reus’ Mexico City office. She has extensive legal experience in the U.S., Spain and throughout Latin America where she concentrates in international commercial litigation and arbitration for individuals, multinational corporations, and sovereign governments. Her experience extends to international business transactions, corporate counseling, corporate governance, and entity formation.

A frequent guest contributor to the television news network CNN Español, she also writes on topics including international finance, government, banking, and money laundering for Inter-American Dialogue’s Latin America Advisor publications.

Colomar Garcia is admitted to the United States District Court, Southern District of Florida, the District of Columbia Bar, the Florida Bar, and the Barcelona Bar in Spain. She earned a Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center and a Juris Doctor degree from the Universitat de Barcelona, Facultat de Dret.
