Miami-based global law firm Diaz Reus International Law Firm (DRT) has announced the promotion of Prince-Alex Iwu and Mitchell Jagodinski to partners.
Prince-Alex Iwu represents U.S. and international clients in cross-border disputes. He is an oral advocate with a commanding courtroom presence and a reputation for clear, persuasive advocacy. Most recently, Prince argued and won a case of first impression before a Florida appellate court, establishing new law in the State of Florida governing service of process by email on defendants abroad in the first instance. His experience includes matters conducted under leading institutional and ad hoc arbitration rules. He is admitted to practice in Florida, New York, and Nigeria, and has extensive experience advising on Nigerian law and cross-border matters involving Nigeria.

Mitchell Jagodinski is a distinguished litigator and trial attorney. His practice focuses on high-stakes commercial litigation often involving complex real estate disputes, corporate governance, or business ownership and control. Adjacent to his litigation practice, Mitchell frequently counsels clients on real estate and lending transactions as well as business development and expansion strategies. In addition, Mitchell works closely with local government boards and officials to support investment and development efforts in the South Florida area.
