Biography


Eric Sallick is a retired Supervisory Criminal Investigator/Special Agent with over 31 years of federal government service, including 27 years with the Department of the Treasury, U.S. Customs Service, and with the Department of Homeland Security and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI). During that time, Mr. Sallick was responsible for investigating, managing and supervising numerous criminal investigations targeting transnational criminal organizations involved in drug smuggling, money laundering, fraud, internal conspiracies, immigration violations, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act violations, copyright and intellectual property violations, and child sex tourism among others.

Mr. Sallick was assigned to U.S. Customs Service and HSI domestic offices in Miami, Florida, Washington, D.C., Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Houston, Texas. During his assignment to HSI Headquarters in Washington, D.C., Mr. Sallick worked as an Operations Manager for all HSI Attaché offices in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Mexico, as a program manager in the Narcotics and Contraband Smuggling Unit and the Border Enforcement Security Task Force (BEST) Unit, and as the Section Chief of the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETF) program. He was also assigned to the Regional HSI Attaché office in Panama and to the HSI Country Attaché office in Guatemala where he worked closely with foreign law enforcement and high-level government officials. Mr. Sallick is fluent in Spanish and travelled extensively domestically and internationally in support of a myriad of multi-jurisdictional, sensitive and complex investigations throughout his government career.
