Odette started her career at Muller Attorneys, a law firm in the Northwest Province of South Africa specialized in High Court Civil Litigation, Family Law, Liquidations and Sequestrations.

Odette’s affection towards children made her an expert in Family Law and has she inter alia assisted many frustrated and prejudiced biological fathers obtaining access and contact rights towards their minor children. During her career Odette attended numerous law seminars of Legal Education and Development (LEAD) hosted by the Law Society of South Africa where she received certificates for Pension Law, the Children’s Act and Divorce Litigation.

Later on, she was appointed by Gerrit Coetzee Attorneys, a well-known Corporate Law Firm in South Africa which firm is nationally and multi-national recognized for its leading experts in Collections, Commercial Law, Civil Litigation, Property and Bond Legislation, Property transfers and Deceased Estates. In her time at Gerrit Coetzee Attorneys Odette has daily assisted and represented big corporate clients of the firm with Collections and Civil Litigation.

Odette currently assists Ms. Yamkela Makupula, the CEO of Diaz Reus Africa, with consultation work.
