Biography
Massimiliano is a management consultant who focuses on business strategy. He has more than 25 years of experience as a business strategy adviser, top executive and entrepreneur, and over 15 years of experience in the Russian legal environment, with a strong grasp of Russian business law. Throughout his career Massimiliano has been advising numerous Fortune 500 and other global companies in consumer goods, fashion and luxury, food, communications, design, and other industries, as well as multilateral institutions - such as the International Finance Corporation, the World Bank, the European Commission, EBRD, UNDP and the Council of Europe. His international experience includes advising clients in Russia, the USA, Europe, the Middle East and China for over twenty years. He was CEO and board member in several Italian companies, shareholder of a business consulting firm, and director of international projects at a major European consulting firm, The European House - Ambrosetti. Massimiliano also specializes on sanctions, occasionally lecturing on the subject, for example at MGIMO, and being interviewed by media, such as Banki.ru and Aksanews. Massimiliano is an expert on Italian-Russian business relations, and he frequently contributes opinions to the media in Italy (TG1 Economia, industry publications, etc.) and in Russia (including Expert, Voice of Russia and Business Investment Guide, Moscow government' s magazine).
He was a member of the scientific committee and lectured on business strategy at the "Master on Russian-Italian Business Relations" as well at the Masters Program of the Faculty of Political Science at the University of Bologna, Italy.
