His professional practice focuses on corporate law/M&A, corporate law, foreign investment, contracts, and arbitration. He has been teaching arbitration since 1996 at the University of Lima and the University of Applied Sciences.

He serves as an arbitrator for the Lima Chamber of Commerce, AMCHAM OSCE, Pontificia Universidad Católica, and the Lima Bar Association. He has acted as an arbitrator in domestic and international arbitrations, including at the ICC.

He has been recognized consecutively, up to and including this year, as an Arbitrator by Chambers & Partners (Band 1) and Leaders League.
