Alex Garcia is a licensed investigator, a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS). He is also a retired Special Agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) with 25 years of distinguished service. Mr. Garcia has managed complex forensic investigations on behalf of law firms and corporate clients involving the misappropriation of assets, investment fraud, money laundering, asset search investigations and due diligence inquiries.  He has also participated in anti-money laundering compliance engagements involving financial institutions, non-bank financial institutions and non-financial businesses.

Mr. Garcia was assigned to a number of investigative programs during his 25-year tenure with the FBI and gained substantial experience in managing complex multi-jurisdictional criminal investigations. He received multiple letters of commendation from the Directors of the FBI and was the recipient of several U.S. Attorneys Outstanding Law Enforcement Officer (OLEA) award.
