Biography


Born in Caracas, Venezuela, Gábor Gazsó von Klingspor is a multilingual attorney fluent in Hungarian and Spanish, with conversational proficiency in French and German. He earned a B.A. in Political Science, cum laude, from the University of Florida, followed by a J.D., also cum laude, from Florida International University. During his studies, Gábor gained valuable experience interning at the Federal District Court for the Southern District of Florida under Judge Beth Bloom, where he tackled complex constitutional, real property, intellectual property, and international law issues. Gábor also interned at the Asset Forfeiture Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Florida with Assistant United States Attorney Nicole Grosnoff, focusing on money laundering and unlicensed money transmitting businesses. As a recent graduate, Gábor is focused on litigation as he begins his legal career at Diaz Reus.

Favorable Results / Representative Matters


  • Successful representation of a client in the unblocking of $4,359,746.92 that was wrongfully blocked by a Puerto Rican bank under OFAC sanctions related to Venezuela. We represented the client in the administrative process and in litigation against OFAC under the Administrative Procedure Act.
  • .Successful defense of a client in a federal RICO and defamation case prosecuted by serial pro se litigants, resulting in the dismissal of the entire case. We represented the client in the initial proceedings to dismiss and successfully defeated multiple unfounded and retaliatory efforts to disqualify the firm and impose sanctions on the client and the firm.
  • Successful representation of a client in an interstate cyberstalking matter, resulting in the entry of a permanent injunction for protection against stalking. The client was repeatedly threatened by an individual who glorified violent actors such as Luigi Mangione and Tyler Robinson. We represented the client from the initial filing of the petition through trial.
  • Successful representation of a client in a civil theft action arising from fraud in the inducement of an investment contract for the filming of a documentary, resulting in a $356,492.22 final judgment. We represented the client in the initial Florida proceedings and are currently pursuing domestication and enforcement in Spain.
  • Successful representation of a client in contesting the Social Security Administration’s erroneous determination of thousands of dollars in alleged benefit overpayments based on the improper attribution of assets. We represented the client in pre-litigation efforts against the Administration, resulting in the correction of the client’s records and the restoration of benefits.
  • Representation of a client in a federal international fraud case involving more than $11,000,000.00 in funds stolen through a fraudulent investment scheme and parties located in Greece, Hong Kong, the United Kingdom, and New York.
  • Representation of a client in an estate and inheritance dispute involving approximately $800,000.00 in contested assets and parallel proceedings in Florida and Chile.
