Zhen Pan focusses his practice on complex commercial litigation in federal and state courts. Prior to joining Diaz, Reus & Targ, Mr. Pan worked with a prestigious national law firm handling various stages of litigation proceedings and representing clients in government investigations. Born and raised in China and trained as a U.S. litigator, Mr. Pan interprets clients’ needs and concern from a different perspective and applies cultural considerations to problem solving and client relationship maintenance.
Mr. Pan received his Juris Doctor degree from University of Miami School of Law. During law school, he gained various experience in legal profession. At school’s pro bono clinic, Mr. Pan represented underserved investors against brokers’ misconduct before Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). Mr. Pan also interned for with Hon. Thomas Logue of the Florida Third District Court of Appeal and worked at the legal department of National Basketball Association.
Mr. Pan also achieved academic achievement award, including dean’s list and awards for outstanding performance in courses Corporate Tax and Financial Accounting. His law review article – China’s Withdrawal of Article 96 of the CISG: A Roadmap for the United States and China to Reconsider Withdrawing the Article 95 Reservation – is published in Volume 25, Issue 1 of University of Miami Business Law Review.
